Aotahi the School of Maori and Indigenous Studies is seeking the following academic staff to join its team in a growing and exciting environment. For all positions, a good understanding of Kaupapa Maori advancement and indigenous pedagogies is required as is a good publication record. An ability to mihi and/or karanga is desirable.
Applicants must be able to teach and research Te Reo Maori at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. An ability to teach Performing Arts is helpful. They must have a good background in Te Reo Maori and Tikanga Maori. Applicants must have a MA or PhD or equivalent degree in Te Reo Maori, Maori Studies and/or Maori and Indigenous Studies or be able to demonstrate they are close to completing such a qualification.
