Internet Safety & Maori

Maori have been quick to utilise the internet for their own purposes. There are a number of websites pertaining to a wide variety of Maori subjects for example te reo Maori, whakapapa, Maori arts and crafts, Maori health, Treaty of Waitangi, and Maori education.

This paper explores the Maori cultural issues relating to internet safety and discusses the role of libraries in addressing these issues.
