E nga mana, e nga reo…
An open invitation from Te Reo Action Waitakere, to attend, participate in or speak at the following hui:
NO KONEI KA ORA AI TE REO| from here on, te reo lives!
- Waitakere City civic centre
- 27 Whiringa-a-rangi | November 2010
HE TONO TENEI < HE WERO ANO HOKI!
We hear from the tribunal that te reo is in crisis. How should we respond? As a community we need to forge a strong path forward.
As academics we need to resolve the complex issues of service delivery, making the best of resources, and developing new ways to provide te reo learning opportunities to the community.
As leaders we need to take up the challenge.
As POLITICIANS we need to ENSURE the development of strategies and initiatives is timely and efficiant, and ENSURE that service delivery to our people is SUCCESSFULL, and PARTICIPATE in the emergence of a future of strenght and prosperity for te reo.
As staff in organisations we need to consider the role of te reo in our organisations, and the role of our organisations in te reo!
As members of the community we need to engage with the community, come together, and recognise the value of working with the people around us, not just in our professional lives, but in our life as a society.
YOU MIGHT ALREADY BE DOING THESE THINGS, IN WHICH CASE YOU WOULD BE A GREAT CANDIDATE TO COME ALONG AND PRESENT YOUR IDEAS TO THE CONFERENCE AND TO THE COMMUNITY
Please find documents attached with all relevant information: a conference outline and an open invitation along with an invitation for EOIs for speakers.
