Ara Taiohi, the organisation for Rangatahi in New Zealand
1 min read
Ara Taiohi is a new national youth sector organisation created by NZ Aotearoa Adolescent Health and Development (NZAAHD) and the National Youth Workers Network Aotearoa (NYWNA).
It has been set up to support people who work with young people so that they are more connected, effective and accountable.
Young people are at the heart of Ara Taiohi. ‘Ara’ means ‘pathway to/for’ and ‘taiohi’ means ‘young person’ in Aotearoa/New Zealand.
