2 min read

PAUA and five of the hottest new music talent to emerge on the local scene are set to BLOW UP the Ngaruawahia RSA on Friday 29th April 2011 at the PAUA Worldwide Album Launch Party hosted by Radio Tainui.

An unprecedented sell out capacity crowd will pack out the RSA to get a taste of PAUAs harmony and melody, floating on deep grooves and rhythms. Bred in Aotearoa – created in Brisbane, this eight piece collective bridges the gap between the urban life we live, and the idyllic life we dream of living

PAUA music has been making its way to live stages around Australia, and radio airwaves around the world.

The tracks Coming Home and Sticks and Stones have been featured on radio in Australia, and here at home in New Zealand, and as far away as Hawaii. The self titled debut album is the product of two years of relentless writing, touring and recording, and distills the essence and emotion of the PAUA reggae sound.

Radio Tainui has actively been promoting the local reggae music scene since NZ Music Month in May of 2010 by providing Live to Air jams for the many bands who have emerged onto the local scene. The caliber of new music to hit the Radio Tainui airwaves has been extraordinary, and it is the response and support from listeners that has been the catalyst for PAUA to return to the Heart of the Waikato to launch their debut album.

PAUA music will capture your heart, feed your mind and make you move your feet.
