Scion is seeking up to two students wishing to complete a 12 week internship programme with the aim of working with an active researcher and developing research skills in the context of clearly-defined parts of a research project.

While Scion has a broad range of research programmes, the project we are specifically seeking skilled and enthusiastic students for is Biocomposites from indigenous fibers

The Internship/s are open to M?ori or indigenous students who are in their final undergraduate year, or who are in the preliminary stages of a post-graduate study programme. Applicants are expected to have serious intention of continuing their studies in the following academic year; and to be considering a career in scientific research.

These are full-time internships commencing Monday 12 December 2011 (negotiable).
