Campground Wardens needed urgently (Rerewhakaaitu) – closes 7 Dec

Campground Wardens wanted urgently for Tapahoro and Rerewhakaaitu campgrounds.

Ngati Rangitihi has the opportunity to manage the campgrounds at Tapahoro (Tarawera outlet), and Rerewhakaaitu (Brett Road and Ash-Pit Road).

Applications are being urgently sought for two positions as Campground Wardens, working three hours per day, seven days a week over summer (December until Easter 2012). These roles are integral to the kaitiakitanga of our whenua and those interested in securing one of these roles needs to apply NOW.

Please note, you will need to be fit and have good bush skills. You will be dealing with campers on a daily basis, so great communication skills are also important.A first aid certificate would be useful however, training will be provided, and you must have a clean drivers licence. The roles involve registration of campers, money handling, cleaning camping facilities and security.

Applicants should be prepared to stay on site on a regular basis. Temporary accommodation will be supplied.

Closing date for applications is TOMORROW – Wednesday, 7 December 2011 at 2.30PM. Interviews will be held on Thursday, 8 December 2011.
