The game is a question and answer game about Maori culture. Players travel around the board attemping to win pieces of a jigsaw puzzle by correctly answering questions in each of four categories: myths and legends, general knowledge, history and Maori language. Along the way they will have to contend with random events, taniwha (monsters) and challenges (wero) from other players.
At the start of the game, each player selects their difficulty level allowing the game to accomodate a wide range of Maori knowledge and ability.
