Maori Language Keyboard

Maori Language Keyboard

To celebrate Maori Language week, we introduced the Te Reo Maori keyboard.
Hei whakanui i te wiki o te reo Maori, I whakaputahia e matou te papa patuhi Maori ki te ao.

Te Reo Maori keyboard was designed in response to difficulties encountered learning Te Reo Maori. We wanted to use correct Maori names and forms of address but had trouble with the macrons. A complex set of key strokes and special characters worked, however we found this too hard, and too time consuming.
I waihangatia te papa patuhi nei hei akarau tautoko ma te hunga pikoko ki te reo Maori. Ko te tika o nga ingoa Maori me nga whakatakoto Reo Maori te whainga matua, engari I raru ke matou i nga tohuto. I tutuki pai o matou hiahia i etahi patonga manganga nei, heoi me uaua ke ka ngawari te whakatutuki, a, he roa rawa te wa ka hipa, ka ea nga mahi.

Having had experience developing the Big Print Keyboard, we redeveloped a keyboard that achieves this efficiently, and with minimal effort.
Na te whakawhanake papa patuhi nui (Big print keyboard), ka hanga matou i tetahi papa patuhi Maori e tutuki ai tera e wawatatia ana e matou, takoto noa ana te karawhiu.

Te Reo Maori keyboard has all of the letters in the Maori alphabet illuminated in a different colour with one-touch access to all the vowels and macrons found in the language, with a one touch option for touch typists. It also has separate keys for “Wh” and “Ng”.
Ka kerokero nga patene o te arapu Maori i te kano rereke, a he pa kotahi noa ki nga oro puare me nga tohuto. He patene hoki mo te Wh me te Ng.

We are currently awaiting the first shipment from our manufacturer, so to secure your keyboard register your interest.
Ka kore e roa ka tae mai to matou porukuruku korahi tuatahi i to matou kaihanga papa patuhi Maori, no reira me horo te rehita mai kei mahue koe.
