Judges announced for Te Matatini 2013 #kapahaka

Thirty one Kaiwhiriwhiri have been selected from throughout Aotearoa, for the upcoming Te Matatini national kapa haka festival in 2013.
According to the Te Matatini website “a rigorous process was followed by the Te Matatini National Office and rohe committees to ensure that all Kaiwhiriwhiri were of a high calibre and met specific requirements for competitive judging at a national level.”
Te Matatini is pleased that the Kaiwhiriwhiri selected for 2013, not only represent quality skills and experience, but include a mix of both seasoned and new judges.”
Kaiwhiriwhiri will judge the performance of 41 competing teams, across a range of kapa haka disciplines:
