Maori Health Leadership Scholarships
The Henry Rongomau Bennett Scholarship Programme is a tribute to Henry Rongomau Bennett’s life and work as the first Maori Psychiatrist in Aotearoa. The purpose of the scholarship is to develop and build:
The scholarships will be offered to kaimahi who work or aspire to work in leadership roles across the health, mental health and addictions sector.

In selection of successful candidates the panel will take the following into consideration:
Undergraduate Scholarships The undergraduate scholarships will provide funding for completion of undergraduate studies that lead to a qualification relevant to working in health, mental health and addiction sectors. The undergraduate scholarships range from $1,000-$5,000 each. Postgraduate Scholarships The postgraduate scholarships will provide funding towards completion of postgraduate studies including Masters or PhD level for people who work in health (or plan to work in) mental health and addiction sector. The postgraduate scholarships range from $1,000-$10,000 each. Please note that you are able to study at any tertiary training institution in New Zealand.
