TV Commercial Auditions, Rotorua
To whom it may concern
My name is Neill Rea. I am a casting director with an Auckland company called Fly. We cast television commercials and series and we have been engaged to find the lead talent for a new TV commercial shooting in Rotorua.
Destination Rotorua Marketing are behind this project.
You may already be aware of the upcoming auditions in Rotorua to find the face of a new TV commercial campaign promoting “Famously Rotorua”.
Casting director Ross Anderson, and I will be in Rotorua on Friday, November 30th and Saturday December 1st to conduct initial auditions.
We’re contacting local schools and organisations ahead of time essentially to help get the word out among potential candidates.
The campaign for Destination Rotorua is looking for a girl aged between 8 to 16 years. It’s important that she be from the area, she’s proud to
be from Rotorua and will be able convey that sense of pride about her city and it’s attractions to locals and also to potential visitors to Rotorua.
Perhaps she is already doing drama, speech, or perhaps she takes part in a kapa haka group, she’ll be outgoing and well spoken.
She’ll enjoy being in front of a camera and she’ll take some pride in her appearance. She could very likely be Maori. She’s happy and healthy and need not have classic ‘model’ looks.
If you know of any girls in your school or organisation who you think would be keen to put themselves forward we’d appreciate your letting them know about the initial auditions which will be held at the Rotorua Convention Centre, Fenton Street, Rotorua.
Dates and times:
Friday November 30th, 3pm to 6pm
Saturday December 1st, 9am to 3pm.
