New Appointments Sought

The Minister of Finance invites applications for positions on the following boards which fall due in 2013:

· Crown Forestry Rental Trust : in addition to basic skills in governance, management, human resources, company law and financial matters; this board requires members with a broad knowledge of issues relevant to Treaty of Waitangi settlements and in particular those concerning Crown forest licensed land. · National Infrastructure Advisory Board : the Board requires members with strong experience in economics, the construction industry, water and waste management, government process and Maori business networks. It is important that candidates have an indepth knowledge of infrastructure, both in NZ and internationally. · National Provident Fund: the Board requires members with strong experience in governance, management, and financial matters; this board requires members with a broad knowledge of investment markets, both in New Zealand and internationally. In particular, broad funds management experience would be advantageous. Any queries could be directed to Alison Lewes (04) 917-7037 or Steve Rich (04) 890-7268

· Southern Response Earthquake Services Ltd : in addition to core skills of commercial experience governance, finance, risk management, and strategic planning; this board requires Directors with an appreciation of New Zealand’s business and domestic infrastructure and the operation of large corporations. Particular areas of expertise required are : senior experience in commercial governance, significant construction industry experience, project management and resource management experience. · Reserve Bank of New Zealand : Candidates are sought with senior commercial governance experience and strong networks in the business community. In addition, deep experience in Maori economic issues would be of value. Any queries could be directed to Steve Rich (04) 890-7268
