Need free Health Advice for whanau call Healthline 0800 611 116

It seems Aotearoa may be in for a long hot summer, which means the whanau will be spending even more time enjoying the great outdoors.

So it’s good to know Healthline is always on hand to offer you and your whanau free health advice.

  • Healthline – 0800 611 116 – is a telephone health advice service available at any time of the day or night from anywhere in the country. You can call Healthline free from either a landline or a mobile phone.

No matter the situation – a burnt hand on the barbeque, a cut foot in a rock pool or an upset stomach from dodgy kai moana – expert health advice is just a phone call away with Healthline.

Healthline is staffed by experienced registered nurses who will ask questions about the symptoms you have, and give you the best advice about what to do. You may be encouraged to seek medical treatment or be given advice about how to manage a condition or minor injury at home. If the situation is serious enough, the nurse may call an ambulance for you.

So keep the Healthline number (0800 611 116) handy this summer. You can’t stop illness or injury from happening, but the best advice is freely available if it does.
