Te Arawa 500 Scholarships (now available online), close 19 Mar 2010

Te Arawa Fisheries have now made online access to their Te Arawa 500 Scholarships available!

One of Te Arawa Fisheries goals is to see 500 Te Arawa people supported into skilled employment by the year 2020 through their scholarship programme. Each year, they offer scholarships worth $1,000 per annum to tertiary students of Te Arawa descent.

Applications are made available in January of each year. All of our successful recipients attend a wananga in May of each year aimed at nurturing and supporting our Te Arawa scholars.

• Important: Please make sure you are registered before you apply for a scholarship. If you are not registered you will not be eligible for a scholarship.
• IMPORTANT: All successful applicants must attend a Wananga starting on Saturday 17 April at 10.00am and finishing on Sunday 18 April 2010 at 12.00 pm
