2010 Toi Whenua – Maori Artists Wananga

Toi Whenua invites you to the 2010 Maori Artist Wananga. A forum where Maori artists can w?nanga to discuss kaupapa and whakaro, helping to support strengthen and encourage Maori Arts practitioners.

Hui will include presentations on the following:

  • are artists creating during Rugby World Cup 2011?
  • what artists opportunities are available?
  • success in the super city?
  • online opportunities
  • Including a hands on art workshop

Saturday 8.00am to late Sunday 8.00am – 2.00pm

Entry ID free of charge however places are limited so registration is essential to attend.

Register at maoriartists.wananga@aucklandcity.govt.nz provide each persons name, email and creative discipline.

Catering will be provided. A complete program will be issued on registration. Brought to you by Toi Whenua, A Maori Arts reference group from following Councils, Auckland, Manukau, Waitakere, North Shore City Council and Art Regional Trust.
