Scholarship Options for 2010

Listed are a few scholarship that were compiled by Marnie Clout, keep in mind that many hapu & iwi don’t publicise this info online so its also a good idea to ask around.

External Scholarships

For external scholarships information sources you cant beat Funding Information Services’ Breakout Database http://fis.org.nz/index.php?page=BreakOut which lists grants and scholarships from charitable trusts, government departments and private enterprise.  Access should be free online from anywhere, and most public libraries including Auckland City Libraries subscribe to it

There may also be other grants and scholarships available out there from iwi.

Ngapuhi: Te Runanga A Iwi o Ngapuhi

• In 2009 their education grants closed on 29 May 2009 check with them for 2010 dates

• links to two scholarships but these are both for 2009, check with them for up to date application details  (both closed at the end of  November so be in quick)
