I was raised in Rotoiti before serving 20 years in the NZ Army.

Recent background includes EBOP Maori policy, where I gained an understanding of resource issues that impact Iwi, Maori governance, Rangatahi development, company director and hold qualifications in resource management and business.

I have a partner and 3 children.

My vision for Okurei is Iwi leading natural and physical resource management and development that benefit Maori and the community wellbeing.

As your representative my initial key focus areas are: Iwi access and participation at all levels of Council decision making processes; Equitable distribution of Council resources that support Iwi development; and Communications with you

I offer a fresh perspective, am passionate for Maori development, capable of advocating for Iwi needs and committed to positive change.
