Aotearoa New Zealand’s longest running and most popular Maori news bulletin is seeking a Political Correspondent.

The position, based at Parliament, will cover key political stories affecting Maori throughout the motu. This role also has the potential to cover other key stories in the Wellington region including those involving government departments and head offices.

The successful applicant will set the agenda for other reporters covering political issues affecting Maori. Fluency in te reo Maori, experience in broadcast journalism and tertiary qualifications in journalism and political studies would be an asset.

The position reports to the Editor Te Karere.
