If you have strong links with local cultural and community groups, youre the perfect person to help us make the 2011 Census a success. The census is a snapshot of the people in New Zealand and where we live.

In this role you will get out in your local community, interact with people you know, and meet lots of new faces along the way. Whether your contacts are with M?ori, Pacific, Asian, youth or special needs groups, your role will be the same to establish relationships, raise awareness around the census and motivate people to play their part on census day Tuesday, 8 March 2011.

Its here where your great communication skills, friendly personality and language ability will make all the difference.

If youre well presented, well organised, have the flexibility to work weekends and evenings when things get busy and like the sound of working 30 hours work per week between September 2010 and March 2011, were keen to hear from you as soon as possible. Of course youll need to have a good knowledge of your local area, and access to a roadworthy vehicle to get around it.

If you can put a tick next to all the above, and youre keen to play a big part in one of New Zealands biggest events, youll be well rewarded for your efforts.
