Te Arawa holds Incubator Conference

Over 40 Te Arawa land trustees and business leaders are meeting in Rotorua today to attend theNew Directions Incubator Conference. The hui presented byRotorua Lakes and Land Trust & Te Arawa Federation of Maori Authorities is meeting to look at how they might achieve

  • Clean waterways and reduction in toxic soil applications.
  • With more efficient and sustainable management frameworks being available to the preferred land use sectors and landowners.

Key areas of interest which are emerging relate to issues around governance training and accessing finance.

Speakers from BNZ, FoRST, the Federated Farmers and Insulwool are presenting on issues relating to Maori Trusts and Incorporations.

In addition, Robbie Neilson from RHB Accountant and Whaimutu Dewes are presenting.
