Call for EOI for National Conference 2011

1 min read

The New Zealand Coalition to End Homelessness announces their National Forum to be held on 24th March 2011 in Auckland. The theme of the Forum relates to indigenous peoples experiences of homelessness.

The Forum Organising Committee are now seeking expressions of interest from individuals or organisations who work or have an interest in the Homeless Sector and who would be prepared to present at the above forum.

We plan on offering two strands of three presentations each in the afternoon of the forum (See Draft Programme). The two strands within the indigenous theme will generally focus on:

  • Homelessness and Whanau
  • Rough sleepers

The two strands are designed to address the fields of Homelessness that have drawn the most interest in past forums. However if your chosen topic is of a more general Homeless nature relating to indigenous peoples that could span both strands, your expression of interest would still be gratefully received.

The overall focus of each presentation will need to relate to

action(s) of some kind that will impact on Homeless people.

a) You will need to complete an Expressions of Interest Brief and return it by 31 August by email to: [email protected] . A copy of this form is attached or can be downloaded from

The organising committee will confirm the schedule of presentations by Monday 13 Sept and inform all those who expressed interest.
