Ihi Rangaranga, Re-imagining Maori Broadcasting Summit (9 October, Rotorua)

Kia ora whanau – members of the independent broadcasting industry need to keepSaturday 9 October 2010free.

Te Mangai Paho, in association with Nga Aho Whakaari and Te Whakaruruhau o Nga Reo Irirangi Maori will host an important Language and Broadcasting Summit, “Ihi Rangaranga, Re-imagining Maori Broadcasting Summit”. This summit has been planned to assist with developing input to the Maori Language Sector Review initiated by the Minister of Maori Affairs and will be held in Rotorua to coincide with Huia Te Reo and the Maori Language Awards hosted by Te Taura Whiri i te Reo.

The Minister of Maori Affairs, Hon Pita Sharples, and the Associate Minister of Maori Affairs, Hon Georgina te Heuheu have both agreed to deliver keynote addresses at the event.

Online registration is is no charge for attendance, but you MUST register your attendance. This summit will be restricted to registered participants only.
