InfraTrain is offering five National Diploma Scholarships for Maori as part of the Te Poutama Kaiahumahi programme.
Each Scholarship is worth $10,000, and will be paid to the employer to support the Scholarship winner in their studies.
These Scholarships aim to increase professional opportunities for Maori, and enhance the wider capability of the civil infrastructure sector.
To be eligible for a National Diploma Scholarship, applicants must be Maori and either:
- Currently enrolled in an InfraTrain National Diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering (Applied) or Infrastructure Asset Management, or;
- Will become enrolled in an InfraTrain National Diploma on winning the Scholarship.
Applications should be made on the application form below, with supporting recommendations from the employer.
The closing date for receipt of applications is 5pm on Friday 3 December 2010, and winners will be announced the following Friday, 10 December.
