Public Trust Board appointments – Maori needed!

1 min read

Each year, the Minister of Justice, on behalf of Shareholding Ministers, invites nominations for positions on the Board of the Public Trust.

The Public Trust is New Zealand’s largest and oldest trustee organisation. Public Trust’s services include wills, trusts, investments, mortgages, conveyancing and a large number of corporate funds. Its overarching purpose is ‘helping all New Zealanders take care of their interests’.

The Minister is inviting interest from candidates who have strong technical, financial and commerical skills to strengthen the performance of this entity.

If you are aware of any potential candidates, please send their current curricula vitae through to me by Friday 21 January 2011.

Further information, specific to nominations for the Public Trust, is available from Steve Rich (ph 04-890-7268) or Bill Frecklington (04-890-7204); the Appointments and Governance Team, Crown Ownership Monitoring Unit.
