Tuakana Administrator, Part-time, University of Auckland

The Tuakana Engineering Team is seeking to recruit a Tuakana Administrator.
The position is part time (0.5 FTE).

Reporting to the Kaiarahi Maori and working closely with the Maori and Pacific Tuakana Mentors, other key stakeholders in the Faculty and wider University, the successful candidate will have responsibilities to give administrative support to the South Pacific Indigenous Engineering Students (SPIES) by maintaining and updating the SPIES database, assisting with annual SPIES events, organise tutor and mentor payments for the Tuakana Engineering Programme, be responsible for funding applications in the Tuakana Team and give administrative support to the Tuakana Team and Kaiarahi Maori when applicable.

The successful applicant must have a high level of computer literacy and file management, experience in maintaining databases, ability to input and analyse data and ability to keep clear concise and ongoing financial statements.

Closing date

The closing date for applications is Tuesday 14th December 2010.
