Community Response Fund application process

Applications for Round Six, the final round of the Community Response Fund are invited from community-based critical social services that can demonstrate that, as a result of the economic downturn, they are experiencing:

  • severe financial difficulties
  • significant increase in demand

Applicants must be able to meet one or both of the above specific criteria as well as general criteria.

How to apply

Applicants can apply for a grant under the Community Response Fund at two funding levels.

Application form one: under $15,000

Applicants requesting a grant under $15,000 complete Form One. Applicants applying for grants under this amount need to confirm on Application Form One that they meet the Fund’s criteria. However, they only have to submit supporting documentation if requested by the panels.

Application form two: over $15,000

Applicants requesting a grant over $15,000 are to complete Form Two. They are required to provide supporting documentation that meets the criteria with their application form. It is mandatory to supply the last two years audited financial statements, or similar. However, if you have supplied this information in a previous application, you do not have to submit it again.

Applying online

We encourage all applicants to apply online using the interactive forms which can be filled in electronically and sent by email to the Community Response Fund team.

Follow these steps:

  • Download the appropriate online application form from the website to your computer. This is an interactive form which can be filled in electronically.
  • Fill in the form and save the file as your organisation’s name. We will use this file name to identify your application during processing.
  • The application form contains drop down and selection options. Use these where applicable.
  • Answer the questions in the cells provided. Please keep your responses to the stated word limit.
  • Once the online form is completed, press the submit button or email it to [email protected]
  • You will receive confirmation your form has been received within three working days.
Applying by printed hard copy

If you apply by hard copy, download the form, print off on A4 single sided paper, completed in full, and sent in unbound format to the address below.
