Pita Alatini on Hyundai Code this week

Former All Black Pita Alatini will hit the HYUNDAI CODE couch tomorrow night to talk about life in Japan post tsunami after he, wife Megan, and their children were caught up in last months tragedy.

HYUNDAI CODE producer Fiona Apanui-Kupenga says Pita will talk about the aftermath of the tragedy, how it affected his family and friends and helping with the clean up and plans to return to Japan when the rugby season resumes.

Tomorrow nights HYUNDAI CODE will be a family affair for Pita, with his sister-in-law musician Meryl Cassie on set singing up a storm during the show

With four guests instead of the usual three, Fiona says there will be a strong line up this week. The former All Black will be joined on the HYUNDAI CODE couch by Blues player Luke Braid and top Olympic swimmers kiwi Hayley Palmer and former Australian world record holder Marieke Guerher who are preparing for this weekends ANZAC swim to raise money for the Christchurch earthquake relief fund.

You can also catch Awen Guttenbiel and Wai Koopu as they attempt to enter the Red Bull Grand Prix trolley race. Apparently Wai has been working on a special cart for six months now, says Fiona.

This week on the show 2degrees will be presenting Red Cross with a cheque for the funds raised from Code Red for Christchurch and you could win a 2degrees smart phone.

The hunt for the Biggest Code Fan continues with the call to fans to show just how far they are prepared to go to win the title of Codes biggest fan.

Fiona says the call is out for people to send in video footage or photos displaying the slogan Mean Maori Mean in the most creative way, with entries shown on the show each week. The prize pack includes a trip to the show including return flights and accommodation. The winner also gets to pick the challenge for the first round of the Mana Shield, which is starting soon.
