Whero is RED – RWC 2011 opportunities!

2 min read

Hi All

I received an email from the team at Vitalise Whangarei and thought that one or more of you might be interested in being a part of the The REAL NZ ROAD SHOW. Do you know about it?

For those that do not here are some details that might help you and yours to decide if this is something that you want to be a part of.

Here are the actual dates and locations for Northland:

27th July at the Town Basin in Whangarei
28th July at the Maritime Carpark in Pahia
29th July at the Te Ahu Centre Carpark in Kaitaia

The organisers Rugby New Zealand 2011, the NZ 2011 Office, are planning the official Rugby World Cup 2011 Nationwide
Roadshow in July.

It as an opportunity for the people in our region to get a glimpse of what RWC 2011 is going to be like;
Regions will also be encouraged to show how they have embraced initiatives such as Adopt a second team, by including local
schools and community groups in the Roadshow.

This is where Northland will be showcasing “Paint it Red” theme which we have adapted into Whero is Red. as a
complimentary strategy to showcase things that we value and are willing to share and market to visitors to Northland.
The Roadshow travels from town to town, each region can show their unique character and promote the fantastic events taking
place here.

The Roadshow will consist of the truck and the marquees, lighting and power necessary to form a platform in each town that it will visit.
Together, we will need to mobilise the communities in each region to pull together a great show on each day that will promote the
REAL New Zealand Festival events and the community organisations involved town by town.

KEEN!!! Want to contribute!!! Want to be part of RWC.

Let us know asap.

Thanks Frances
