Training Wananga with Moana Jackson, Massey University

Tena tatau, me nga mihi ki a tatau i roto i te harikoa o ta tatau toa i te Whakataetae Whutupaoro o te Ao! Nei ra te mihi.

On Friday the 18th of November Moana Jackson will be holding a training wananga for Maori Tiriti o Waitangi educators at Massey University in Palmerston North.

The wananga will address some of the more challenging aspects of Treaty education, such as the emotional/spiritual response of both Maori and Pakeha to our history, as well as what Moana thinks are important aspects of Treaty education today. Tiriti educators are welcome from across all fields of education tertiary, community, schools, NGOs with a particular focus on educators who are new or beginning to this field and would benefit from Moanas guidance!

Registration for the hui is $150, inclusive of kai and accommodation. There are 40 spaces, but Moana has let us know this is semi-flexible! Please pass on to anyone who you know may be interested.     I hope that you would be kind enough to aks Moana if he is thinking of coming to Auckland and sharing his wisdom on the with the whanau up here anytime over the next 12 months?
    Im waiting to complete my degree with UNITECH and awaiting to be accepted in next years intake but would love to hear his koero.
