Sir Peter Tapsell – info for Ngati Whakaue whanui

Sir Peter will be spending the night at his home here in Rotorua with close friends and family before being taken to Maketu tomorrow Sunday arriving there about 12 o’clock.

His funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 11a.m at Maketu.

Ngati Whakaue will be meeting out at Whakaue marae, Maketu tomorrow at 1p.m to attend his tangihanga. Please pass on this information to those who are not on email, or phone, or pick someone up who may need a ride.

  3. I grew up with Shan, Rees Trudi and David, I left Rotorua over 20 years ago and wish to pass my sincerest condolances onto the family.
    My thoughts are with you all, sorry to have lost touch. I bet my dad & “Mr Tapsell” as he was always called are laughing over old times together again after many years. Discussing cars and work.
