After the fantastic feedback and reaction to our World Cup coverage, this is recognition of the huge effort our channel put into making Rugby World Cup 2011 a success.

The New Zealand under-20 team will be working hard to defend their 2011 Junior World Championship title in this years competition, which will take place in Cape Town and Stellenbosch from June 5 to 23 (NZ time).

New Zealand opens the tournament against Samoa on 4 June at Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch. That game will screen live on Maori Television from 2.30am on Tuesday 5 June and replay from 7.00am to 9.00am.

Over the next three weeks, Maori Television will screen live and delayed coverage of matches as the 12 top international teams compete for the IRB Junior World Championship 2012 title.

So many of our All Blacks have come through the under-20 tournament, Mr Royal says.
