  1. Anywhere North Perth please I know there’s a lot of Maori here and we would all love to see it please please.

  2. Kia ora tatou,

We are all looking forward to this film coming to Australia where 1 in 6

Maori live. I think it would be a great idea to host a premier event to mark the opening of the film into Sydney. We are aware of the dates of its premier in Sydney out in Liverpool and would definitely think it a good idea to preview it at a special opening time.

    Heoi ano mo tenei wa,

  3. Kia ora mai te Ao Moemoea / Australia!

My whanau and I are in Brisbane / Mt Gravatt area and I’m a massive fan of Witi Ihimaera.

I read this story a few years ago from the collection called ‘Ask the Posts of the House.’ My wife bought it for me and his writing speaks to you on a spiritual level because we are people that exist in the 2 worlds. Te ao wairua me te ao tinana.

Would love to be a part in hosting something here. I’ve many contacts having been involved here in kapa haka, mau raakau and my wife with waka ama so getting the word on the street – easy as bro!

Look forward to hearing from you.

    Mauri ora!

  4. Would love to see this on the big screen. I am part of a movie club (though we all confess to often being too busy to fit a movie in (all at the same time). This would not only appeal to the Kiwis in the group but looking at the trailer, it would appeal to those who enjoy a good story and setting. Our respective families would enjoy all this film has to offer. Our closest cinema is in Midland (Perth W.A)… though that is not to say we wouldn’t travel further to see it. Hope to hear it is coming to a cinema near me soon.

    Kind Regards

    Levarna Renwick
