1 min read

Kia ora tatau,

I am a researcher for a NEW TV SHOW called KUIA which will be a 26 part series going to air next year on Maori TV.

KUIA aims to archive a generation; their stories and experiences throughout their lives.

I am trying to find kuia who are willing and able to participate in this series. KUIA from all iwi are welcome to participate as it is nationwide.

2001_29_14REQUIREMENTS; They need to be AGED 90 years or older, be FLUENT in TE REO and BE WELL ENOUGH to have a 2-HOUR long interview.

We have some kuia on board, one is 103 and another 102!!! But our research team need help finding some more.

So whanau ma, If you know any beautiful Kuia who fit this description whakapa mai ki ahau, please P-MAIL me or email me – It would be greatly appreciated.

I will provide an info sheet for anyone who wants more information.

Nga mihi maioha,

Talisa Kupenga
