Leadership Programme for Maori in Public Health

Its close to Christmas and people are winding down for the year.

If you know people that are interested, I would suggest sending in this email and get them to complete enrollment form as soon as you can as the programme is filling fast.
People need to be working in a Public health contract to be eligible
The programme costs are covered. Organization’s need to release participants for the training days, contribute a small koha to the marae on the day of the powhiri as part of the powhiri process. (e.g. $10 – $20)
The wananga consists of 8 days (4 x 2 day wananga) and will be at Turangawaewae Marae, Ngaruawahia.
The T?rangawaewae cohort will commence in Februaryand finish in June 2015

  • Wananga Tuatahi:19 & 20 February 2015
  • Wananga Tuarua:16 & 17 April 2015
  • Wananga Tuatoru:14 & 15 May 2015
  • Wananga Tuawha:18 & 19 June 2015
Start times are9amon theThursdayand finish at3pmon theFriday. We work through the evenings and participants are expected to stay at Turangawaewae marae.
