Te Pihinga BNZ Maori Cadetship Programme – Auckland & Taupo / Bay of Plenty region

E ono marama te roanga o te kaupapa nei, ko tetahi ka tau ki Tamaki Makaurau, ko tetahi ka tau ki Taupo, heoi, kei te pohiritia nga kaitono mai Taupo tae atu ki Te Moana a Toi (a Rotorua, Tauranga, me Whakatane).

We are looking for two talented, passionate individuals to joint our six month cadetship programme, starting February 2015!

1956203_29_topOne will be based in Auckland and the second will be based in Taupo ideally, but we are open to consider candidates from Taupo up to the Bay of Plenty region (including Rotorua, Tauranga & Whakatane).

  • Do you have a passion for learning?
  • Would you be interested in gaining exposure to a wide range of career activities in Banking and Finance?
  • Are you of Maori descent?
  • Does the idea of a six month paid cadetship appeal to you?

The cadetships are for passionate individuals, who have knowledge of working with M?ori and Iwi and a keen interest in a business, financial or retail environment. Cadets will work alongside experienced bankers in a variety of roles, projects and activities.

We are looking for:

  • A great attitude, passion, aptitude and willingness to learn about banking
  • Knowledge and/or experience working with M?ori or Iwi, hap? environments
  • Demonstrated numerical, analytical and quantitative ability and excellent communication skills
  • Proven relationship skills and effective time management and results execution skills
  • Mature school leavers seeking to begin a new career in banking
  • People wishing to enter into the workforce, or change their careers; or
  • Tertiary students or graduates

Preferred but not essential:

  • Te Reo Maori me ona tikanga
  • Sales Experience and / or previous Business Experience
